UNDP partnered with ILO and worked with marginalised women, particularly GBV survivors, in four locations: Hopley, Muzarabani, Chipinge, and Umzingwane.
Strategies included providing business starter packs, and offering training in technical skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.

The Spotlight Initiative (SI) is a global partnership aimed at eliminating all forms of violence against women and girls.
The initiative is funded by the European Union.
In ZImbabwe, it was implemented by UNDP, UN Women, UNFPA, ILO, UNICEF and UNESCO, together with many NGOs.
The Ministry Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development provided leadership and guidance.
